Highland Park: Independent Living

Highland Park, Meth-Wick’s newest lifestyle option, offers gracious independent living for active seniors age 62+. As members of Meth-Wick Community, Highland Park residents have access to a network of care if and when their health needs should change.

Highland Park will consist of 18 units—two single-family homes (completed in July 2010 and now occupied) and eight duplexes. Construction will continue as homes are sold. A furnished Highland Park model duplex, which opened in July 2010, helps people picture the potential for the unique Highland Park lifestyle.

The first signee for each duplex has the exciting benefit of choosing the exterior look and feel of the unit, including brick and trim colors. All homes will have a two-car garage, private entrance and generous living space of 1600 square feet or larger. Depositors can personalize any of the offerings, from appliances to cabinetry to flooring. They can also move walls or change the layout, as long as it meets construction guidelines. Homes are constructed so that residents have the option of adding a deck or porch. About half of the units will have walk-out basements.
